KELLY FRANKLIN, SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Kelly graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2009. She is exemplary at treating feet/ankles, knees, shoulders, and with over 14 years experience is an expert at managing difficult or complex cases. She employs a hands-on, manual therapy approach to her sessions, using acupuncture and exercise prescription to round out a client’s treatments. Her love for powerlifting and functional fitness has given her specialized knowledge in incorporating body weight, barbell, and dumbbell movements into rehab.

A self-proclaimed exercise fanatic, she’s tried a little bit of everything from running, cycling, yoga, and many different gym class offerings. When gyms closed in 2020 she rediscovered her love for running and joined her gym’s run club! The run club allowed her to have a little social back in her life, and she soon found herself running several times a week and getting back into races. She’s worked closely with her teammates on the Quantum Run Club with their injuries and taught them how to use strength as a tool to improve their running. She is currently training for her first half marathon.

Kelly is part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and also plans to run the Pride 5k this year!
