LAUREN ROBERTS, CLINIC OWNER & PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Clinic Founder and Physiotherapist for 12 years, Lauren is an inventor, teacher, mentor, and parent. A nature lover at heart, she lives in Orangeville with her partner and two daughters.
Lauren has been actively involved in the Toronto running scene for over twelve years. Despite being told as a young child that she had inverted thigh bones and would have challenges running, she has raced the Boston Marathon and competed in the 2016 Ironman World Championships. Lauren is the creator of the Real Running Course and has taught clinicians all over Canada how to assess and treat runners of all ages and abilities. She has contributed to various podcasts, been published in Canada Running Magazine, and is a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto. Her team is also the title sponsor of the Freestyle 5k and 1k Kids Run in collaboration with the Canada Running Series Foundation and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. As a mom and business owner, Lauren feels strongly about supporting other female entrepreneurs in business and keeps busy working with helping others to grow their dream.
Lauren’s goal in founding The Running Physio is to promote a clinic culture that is welcoming and inclusive to people of all abilities, as well as provide a stimulating, engaging and fun work environment for the team where clinicians can continually find meaning in their work with others.
