K.J. PATRICK DEAN
Patrick is a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Prior to this, he received his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Toronto. While in University he trained and competed in the Track and Field Sprinting/Jumping events. Patrick’s passion for treating physical ailments came from his own frustration with athletic injuries. He sought out the Massage Therapy profession as he found it to be one of the most impactful modalities in resolving musculoskeletal dysfunction.

Margarita is a Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instruction and a Thai Massage Practitioner. She has over 9 years of experience as a Yoga Teacher and 5 years as a Thai Massage Practitioner. Margarita finished her Registered Massage Therapy program in August 2020, graduating with honours from Kikkawa College. Margarita pairs her educational experience and her background in movement to help patients move freely and relieve pain. She is also completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University and she believes that acupuncture is a great complementary tool to help patients with muscular skeletal dysfunctions by targeting the nervous system and providing a more complete therapeutic treatment.

As a dedicated physiotherapist, Guillaume brings over 15 years of experience to the field, having graduated in France in 2008. His career has been marked by the privilege of working with professional athletes across various disciplines, especially in basketball, where he had the opportunity to work with NBA and WNBA players. These diverse experiences have honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the unique needs of the human body from high-performance athletes to amateur levels.

Robbie is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping people get back to the activities they love. With a background in competitive soccer and a deep understanding of sports-related injuries, he knows firsthand the importance of movement, recovery, and injury prevention.
He started his academic journey on a soccer scholarship at Urbana University in Ohio before earning an Honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. He then pursued his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University in the UK.

Clinic Director Dr. Trevor Vander Doelen earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College following an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Laurentian University. Following his Chiropractic degree, he then completed a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of British Columbia and a 5-year residency to become a Sports Specialist Chiropractor. He is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences and the lead author in a number of peer reviewed journal articles pertaining to injury care and sports performance.

Kevin is our clinic’s expert in dealing with shoulder, hip, and knee injuries and has worked with athletes from various sports including baseball, rugby, soccer, basketball, and Aussie rules football. This year Kevin set a personal best in the 10k and is excited to continue his running journey with more races next year.
Kevin recently moved back home to Toronto after four years living in Melbourne, Australia, where he earned a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne.
KELLY THURLOW
Kelly specializes in treating ankle injuries, as well as knees, shoulders and low back problems. She grew up competing as a highly competitive synchronized swimmer and after over 20 years in the sport she is still competing today. Kelly faced many injuries while training that lead to multiple setbacks. Through working with dedicated physiotherapists, she was able to heal and continue competing. Synchro then led Kelly to compete collegiately in the USA while completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University.

An ex-varsity hockey player, Erin graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. One of Erin’s greatest strengths is getting to know her clients personally and developing individualized treatment plans that focus on enabling her clients to get back to what they love. She is continually taking courses to advance her skills specifically in manual therapy and specializes in treating ankles, knees and hips.
As Varsity Hockey Team captain in her last year at York University, Erin helped lead her team to the USPORTS National Championships for the first time in the program’s history.

Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo before completing his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He is our clinic’s running analysis guru and also enjoys treating low back and knee issues. He is also one of our clinic Run Coaches.
After completing his degree, he spent 3 years living and practicing in Calgary, Alberta. It was there where Kevin’s love for running began.
